March 26 2020 – Covid-19 : The Coronavirus Act 2020

As of today, Thursday 26 March, the Coronavirus Act 2020 is now in force, bringing with it sweeping changes to many aspects of life and work, including the health and social care systems. For example, much of the Care Act 2014 has in effect been suspended. Face to face sickness and disability benefit assessments have been suspended for 3 months. NHS providers are able to delay the assessment process for NHC Continuing Health Care until the outbreak has ended.
